Cultures and Creators 2023 is a collection of posters designed for the first annual Cultures & Creators Visual Arts Festival hosted by the Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area. This event will take place at the Los Luceros Historic Site in Alcalde, New Mexico, showcasing and supporting local artists. The posters draw inspiration from the rich history of the Los Luceros Historic Site, as well as influences from Posada and Georgia O'Keefe. With a diverse mix of Phioge Pueblo, Spanish, and Mexican cultures, the site represents a unique blend of traditions. The posters highlight the local landscape, with a central theme of skeletons.
