Gabe Herbig completed her studies in Graphic Design and Drawing at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). During her time as a student, she started her career as a Graphic Designer at the UTEP Library from 2019 to 2020. Simultaneously, she also took on freelance projects for El Paso Community College and the Queer Student Alliance (QSA). Gabe was responsible for creating marketing materials, both in print and digital formats, and developing campaigns for the UTEP Library and the QSA. Additionally, she gained valuable experience in file preparation and printing processes.
Following graduation, Gabe began her career as a Graphic and Web Designer at Atomic Marketing from 2020 to 2023. She had the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of clients all from different industries. As a result of working with such a diverse clientele, Gabe honed her expertise in a multitude of areas, including branding, identity design, social media design, digital and print marketing materials, and web design. By immersing herself in these different facets of design, she gained a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively communicate a brand’s message and create visually captivating designs that resonate with target audiences.
In 2022, she transitioned to her current role as a Graphic Designer at Loka Creative, where she continues to expand her skill set and contribute to the success of her clients. This new opportunity has allowed her to further refine her abilities and stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies.
