Tiffin & Co [an array of teas, condiments, and comestibles] draws its name from the light mealtime ritual originating in British-ruled Southern India. Behind the logo is Annapurna, the Hindu Goddess of Food and Nourishment blends into one meaning 'food filled completely'. As devotees to her never go hungry, she is always at her post, depicted with a bowl and spoon in hand. To draw upon Annapurna's cultural heritage further in branding and packaging designs, I added a mandala design to frame her image as well as explore repeating patterns and colors found in Indian Textiles and Paintings.
